Fender's Fish Hatchery

Home Harvesting Fish

When fish are picked up at the hatchery we furnish the containers. The fish are put in about 5 gallons of water, then oxygen is added to the bag and it's tied shut.  This process keeps the fish alive until you reach your pond or lake.

You should then release the fish immediately into your pond or lake in approximately 2 feet of water.
